About Me
My name is Ramon Veral and I am a math teacher at Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica, CA. Currently I teach Algebra I and II, as well as one course of Immersion Algebra in Spanish. I grew up in Santa Monica and I am proud to be teaching at the same high school I attended.
After graduating from Samohi in 1989, I earned a BA and my teaching credential from Cal State Northridge. Between all that, I spent 12 years as a clerk at a local supermarket. I believe that experience gave me a special set of skills that I use to this day to connect with my students, their families, and my colleagues. I am currently a graduate student at Cal State Fullerton where I am working towards an MS in Education with a concentration in Educational Technology. I am enjoying learning new tools that I can implement in the classroom to help my students, my colleagues, and my school. |
